• Meghan Krauss is a practicing photographic artist currently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of Windsor, in Windsor, ON. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK, with a major in photography. She was amongst the highest in her graduating class, convocating with honours with great distinction in the Spring of 2005.

While pursuing her Master's Degree, Meghan plans to investigate the concept of the banality of the automobile and roadways, as they exist as non-places within our own subconscious, ultimately blending into the habitual landscape. The images are intended to challenge the aspects of linear time and perception, revealing a condensed "hyperreality" that exists somewhere between fabrication and reality.

Meghan's portfolio also boasts a strong collection of travel photography deriving from her ongoing list of visited destinations. Over the past 10 years, Meghan has traveled extensively throughout Western Canada, the South-Western United States, Hong Kong, Nepal, Australia, Thailand, Peru, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Taiwan, and New Zealand. Combine this feat with numerous gallery showings, long-term career goals, post-secondary education, and large-scale fundraising initiatives, and you find one very busy and determined young lady.
